The Franciscan Brothers of the Eucharist are founded with the intention of being aggregated to the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist as the men's branch of the order.

The Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist is a pontifically approved order founded in 1973. The motherhouse is in Meriden, Connecticut, USA.

Rebuilding the Church in Complement

The Franciscan Brothers of the Eucharist work in complement with the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist to rebuild the Church of our day in the spirit of St. Francis and St. Clare.

Through our relationship with the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist, we embody the complement spirit of St. Francis and St. Clare as a dynamic, life-giving spirit for the growth of the Church and the Franciscan mission today.

Approved as a public association of the faithful, the Franciscan Brothers of the Eucharist live the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience in community, sharing all things in common. We witness to the fruitful synergy of Franciscan community life and mission in our daily Eucharistic prayer and in our outreach as Brothers.
